Love them!May 20, 2009
By cr0ak I love these Muckboots shoes. Even though my feet get hot if I spend too much time in them (anything other than barefoot in Houston during May through October and my feet get hot! LOL), I love the fact that my feet are completely protected; not only from the sun, but from any fire ants that I may disturb. Also, the Asian Tiger mosquitoes can't get to the heels or the tops of my feet, as they can when I wear Sloggers (I always wear long cotton gauze pants to keep the skeeters off my legs when I plan on being outside for more than 10 minutes).
We recently had a major downpour (storm) that dumped almost 10" of rain within about 18 hours and major sections of our back yard turned into a bit of a swamp (until the rain could percolate down into the soil). I was able to walk around the yard in my Muckboots without fear of being bitten by floating fire ants, and my feet stayed completely dry.
I had originally purchased the size 9, which fit my 9½ sized feet, but I wanted a bit more room to allow my feet to breathe, so I returned them for the size 10. I'm seriously contemplating purchasing another pair so that I have a pair to wear while another pair is being deodorized and drying out.

HoundstoothJun 21, 2009

I love these femme muckboots!
As a farmer I wear them all the time.
I already scuffed off some
of the decorative houndstooth.
Still I am hopeful they will stay chic for the coming years.

great padding, heel slips a bitJan 15, 2011
By Alisha S. Moore I'm an avid gardener, and love these shoes. My heels slip a bit when I walk because the soles are so thick and not so flexible, but not a big deal. I once stepped on a nail in the yard while gardening and injured my foot because I wasn't wearing protective enough gardening shoes (Crocs!). Love the pattern, sometimes it's hard to feel feminine while covered in dirt and leaves from the garden, but the style of these shoes does the trick.

ABSOLUTE BEST!Oct 03, 2010
By Susan M. Stephenson This is my second pair. My original ones would have lasted abit longer; however, my golden puppy decided to gnaw on one. It tore the top which virtually seals the shoe around your foot and prevents dirt from entering the shoe. THese are the most comfortable and versatile gardening shoes I've ever worn!

Garden shoesJun 16, 2010
By John R. Glover I ordered these from Amazon for my wife, whose previous lawn shoes had all but worn out. They are more expensive than what she had been using but are worth every cent. The are made well and fit well. Besides, they look good in blue with pinkish trim. She almost whistles while she works in them. Any woman would like to be in her shoes.
