Not quite what I'd hoped forMar 04, 2010

Boots are made in China, fabricated of solid pieces (no seams to leak), but the "expanding" pleats were stuck together and had to be forced apart. Definitely weakened the integrity of the material. I have large calves, but my measurement and theirs were not in agreement. The "expansion" makes the boot top look distorted and the buckles (for adjustment, presumably) were unwieldy and difficult to use. Loved the color, though.

By Rema These boots are fantastic. They were delivered quickly. Exactly as advertised, only better. They are actually comfortable. Now I just have to wait for a rainy day!

By Victoria Marie I wore these boots on a trip to Alaska, and they kept me dry and comfortable. They were essential. My daughter's also wore the boots, but in different colors. A must have!

fell apartApr 23, 2011
By anonymous I have had these for 13 months and they have completely fallen apart. I am in search of a new pair. These were way too expensive to be one season boots.

Hunter's Disturbing EthicsMar 20, 2010
By Bookworm I have been a longtime buyer of Hunter boots and have considered carrying them in my shoe store. However, I recently learned that Hunter boots produced 10,000 boots with blooming (the white residue) and instead of recycling (which they claim to do in their company statement, instead of donating to Haiti, Goodwill Industries, Salvation Army, you name it, Hunter shoes burned all 10,000 of these boots. I am appalled and disgusted and will no longer be buying Hunter boots.
