Great book!Apr 05, 2008
By Todd Van Winkle Very informative book, great pictures! Shows you how to decorate your garden with palms, palm problem solving, and a huge section showing a variety of palms I have never even seen in other palm books! I recommend this book just for the great information it provides for the average homeowner who loves palm plants.

Palm TreeesMar 27, 2009
By Shirley Jean Schrock Of all the books I have read on Palms, this was the best, here in Florida ,"Everything' is some sort of Palm tree (per their labels" ths book explains the difference in the Palms & the not really palm trees, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know all about Palms & their "cousins"

European readersOct 31, 2008
By Narciso Vila Ramirez Good content structure and approach to the descriptions. On the other side, the european readers like me should be aware that the temperature thresholds of the palmtrees are expressed in Farenheit units and some palmtree names do not match the European nomenclature, apart from this, the book is excellent.
Good Intro bookAug 18, 2010
By D. Attoms this is a good introduction book for those just getting into palms. If you are looking for more detailed information on a specific type of palm or how to care for it this won't help much with that - but it can point you in the right direction as far as general care for it.
Good reference bookJun 20, 2009
By Kristine E. Johnston This book has all (or almost all) the palm trees; I now know what I want to plant. It also has trouble-shooting for pests and nourishment deficiencies.
